Having been a member of the gym for almost one year, I was keen to get my daughters (4 & 6) involved in the youth BJJ classes. My eldest is very shy and can get quite anxious, so I had a job getting her to the gym. Once I did, Windy, Claire and her team did the rest - they were very welcoming, read the situation incredibly well and engaged with her in the perfect way. She was quickly comfortable with the team and other children in the group, and had an amazing time in her induction class. She's not stopped talking about the class and we've signed her up for membership. I can't wait to see her confidence grow.

You won't find a more established, positive, welcoming gym for all age groups! Multiple martial arts disciplines all under one roof, for one payment. I wouldn't take my children anywhere else

Great place to train. I wanted to introduce my son (7yrs young) to martial arts and started with BJJ. The whole team is very welcoming, helpful and experienced. Within few weeks, to my surprise, he wanted to try judo and kickboxing as well. He's enjoying it tremendously, built lots of confidence, learning discipline and improving overall in everyday life. That's what training martial arts in great environment does. Not long after I (44 years old) joined the team myself and I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you Blue Wave!

Excellent martial arts academy with high level dedicated instructors. I trained here for 8 months whilst in the area, my jiu jitsu improved a lot and I started kickboxing which I got better at too. Facilities are brilliant 3 mats, a ring, showers etc. Really good vibes too met a lot of good people. No idiots trying to kill you too which is always a plus Thanks windy and the team will return

Blue Wave staff is top notch! WIndy is a very experienced coach. Facility is well kept! Both my 13 year old and myself (38 years old) enjoy the classes offered from BJJ, Kickboxing, Judo and more.

It can be daunting going in to this type of club for the first time and I’ll be honest I nearly didn’t go in for my trial lesson but I’m so glad I gave it a go. Everyone was welcoming and friendly, thank you Claire for making the booking really easy your emails are lovely, warm and welcoming. Thank you to everyone at the club for being fabulous. I cannot recommend this club enough.

Bluewave is a great club with friendly and knowledgeable coaching staff. My 6 year old boy started and his overall confidence on and off the mat has risen hugely. It looked so good I joined too! Definitely recommended.
